Softball Recap: Mountain View Eagles vs. Blue Ridge Raiders

Mountain View extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 1-5 in the process. They came up short against the Blue Ridge Raiders, falling 12-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Mimi Sedlak was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Thatcher, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
