Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Lyon). They put the hurt on the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals with a sharp 14-3 victory on Monday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Central Lyon back to even at 6-6. As for Sibley-Ocheyedan, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Coincidentally, Central Lyon and Sibley-Ocheyedan will both be playing West Lyon the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Generals will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
