Dos Palos is 9-1 against Firebaugh since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Broncos will look to defend their home court against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Dos Palos will be strutting in after a win while Firebaugh will be coming in after a loss.

Dos Palos not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Tranquillity with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

The win didn't come easy: Tranquillity scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Avenal, falling 3-0.

While Firebaugh was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Avenal's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16, 25-23.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Dos Palos, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13-1.

Dos Palos took their win against Firebaugh in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
