Baseball Recap: Fort Collins Takes a Loss

Fort Collins lost against Rocky Mountain on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lambkins came up short against the Lobos, falling 9-3. The Lambkins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Collins saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Stanevich, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another was Kaden Souders, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Fort Collins' loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Rocky Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Collins will host Broomfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Lambkins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rocky Mountain, they will be playing at home against Rock Canyon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
