Keyser's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the East Hardy Cougars 12-1. The Golden Tornado haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Layton Valentine tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cam Larkin, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikey Mongold, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
