Westminster Academy was the 11-3 winner over Master's Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Westminster Academy fell 6-2 to Master's Academy on Wednesday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Westminster Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Hollandsworth, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Westminster Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Master's Academy, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Academy will face off against Coral Shores at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Coral Shores will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Westminster Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Master's Academy, they will challenge Scott County at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
