Baseball Game Preview: Palacios Sharks vs. Hallettsville Brahmas

For the second straight game, Palacios will face off against Hallettsville. The Sharks will head out on the road to take on the Brahmas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palacios has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 13.

Palacios couldn't beat Hallettsville on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fourth inning. The Sharks came up short against the Brahmas, falling 19-7.

Palacios got a big performance out of Ismael Lopez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.

Hallettsville is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Palacios, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.
