Preview: Terrell County Greenwave vs. Manchester Blue Devils
The Terrell County Greenwave will head out on the road to face off against the Manchester Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Terrell County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Lee County on the road and fell 69-41. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Terrell County has scored all season.
Despite their loss, Terrell County saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Shaheed Huckaby, who scored 20 points, was perhaps the best of all. Huckaby scored a full 48.8% of Terrell County's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Keavonte Anderson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Manchester's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They suffered a rough 56-32 defeat at the hands of Portal.
Terrell County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Manchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
