Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Desert Oasis walked away with it. They came out on top against the Clark Chargers by a score of 8-3 on Wednesday. The Diamondbacks haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Ali Perkins made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Perkins was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

In other batting news, Vida Torres was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three runs. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Kaitlyn Dunigan was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

Desert Oasis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive contests.

Desert Oasis' record now sits at 11-8-1. As for Clark, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8-1.

Desert Oasis has already played their next matchup, a 15-6 defeat against Doral Academy Red Rock on the 8th. As for Clark, they will head out to face off against Foothill at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
