Baseball Game Preview: Legacy Christian Academy Lions vs. Blaine Bengals

The Legacy Christian Academy Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Blaine Bengals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Legacy Christian Academy 3.4, Blaine 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Thursday, Legacy Christian Academy earned a 10-6 victory over West Lutheran. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Blaine won against Robbinsdale Armstrong on Tuesday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Bengals beat Maple Grove by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Crimson: they've now won four in a row.

Blaine pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
