Volleyball Recap: Bob Jones Now 24-5 over Last 29 Games

Bob Jones's tournament run continued when they took on South Forsyth on Saturday. The Patriots came out on top against the War Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Kendall Buckley paced Bob Jones' offense, picking up eight kills. Buckley were helped by Mya Lacey and Zoe Robinson, who contributed eight assists each. Buckley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the defeat, South Forsyth saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hanna Stedeford had 11 digs and one assist.

Bob Jones has been performing well recently as they've won 24 of their last 29 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-9 record this season. As for South Forsyth, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-22.

Bob Jones wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Mount Paran Christian on the 27th. As for South Forsyth, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Union Grove on the 27th.
