Soccer Recap: North Surry Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

North Surry's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forbush Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Forbush this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in March.

North Surry's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4-3. As for Forbush, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Surry will host West Wilkes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Surry are facing West Wilkes at the right time seeing as West Wilkes are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Forbush, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilkes Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Forbush are on a five-game streak of home wins, Wilkes Central a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
