Baseball Recap: New Franklin Continues Road Dominance on Monday

New Franklin won the last time they faced Fayette and things went their way on Monday too. New Franklin walked away with an 8-3 win over Fayette. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

New Franklin's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Fayette, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, New Franklin is taking a road trip to take on Jamestown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayette, they will be playing at home against Harrisburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Fayette their first taste of in-conference action this season.
