Basketball Game Preview: South Side Hornet vs. Bradford Eagles

South Side and Bradford are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2015, but not for long. The Hornet will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

South Side is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Guy-Perkins. The Hornet claimed a resounding 64-15 victory over the Thunderbirds. The Hornet haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Bradford hadn't done well against Rose Bud recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Ramblers by a score of 51-43. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 16-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

South Side was able to grind out a solid victory over Bradford in their previous meeting back in February, winning 63-51. Do the Hornet have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
