Kings Christian piles up the points against Riverdale

The Kings Christian Crusaders came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Riverdale 79-31 at home. Kings Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matches by 26 points or more this season.
Kings Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ronnie Roche out in front who scored 39 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Roche has scored at least 25% of Kings Christian's points. Elyas Miro was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Kings Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Riverdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Alpaugh the next time they take the court. Kings Christian will host Alpaugh at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Riverdale will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
