Basketball Recap: Jeremiah Harris' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Towson over Dulaney

Towson lost against Dulaney back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Towson Generals took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dulaney Lions.

Several Generals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah Harris, who went 5 of 12 en route to 12 points and five rebounds. What's more, Harris also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in January. Another player making a difference was Seven Wheeler, who posted 12 points.

Even though they lost, Towson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Towson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Dulaney, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Towson will take on Loch Raven in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dulaney, they will head out to face off against River Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
