Volleyball Recap: Lebo Takes a Loss

Lebo was the 2-0 winner over Neodesha when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Streaks on Saturday.

While Lebo ultimately came up short, they really made Neodesha work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 26-24.

Leading Neodesha to victory were Dalia Johnson and Allison Stover. Johnson had eight digs and two aces, while Stover hit 69.2% for nine kills and six digs and three aces. What's more, Johnson posted five assists, the most she's had over her last four matches.

Lebo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Neodesha, their win was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0.

Lebo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Labette County on the 20th. As for Neodesha, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fredonia on the 20th.
