Last Thursday, Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Sherrard an easy 78-56 victory. Garrett Vincent put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Ashtin Staley, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Princeville came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Midwest Central 61-30 at home.
Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Princeville, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
