Basketball Recap: John Champe Comes Up Short

John Champe won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 66-15 loss at the hands of the Loudoun Valley Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost seven in a row.

John Champe's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Loudoun Valley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

John Champe will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Manassas Park at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Loudoun Valley will take on Loudoun County in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
