The Westville Blackhawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by North Judson-San Pierre at home and fell 69-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Westville has scored all season.

Westville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Pepper, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Pepper scored a full 35.1% of Westville's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cole Swanson, who scored eight points.

Westville now has a losing record at 3-4. As for North Judson-San Pierre, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Westville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Portage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th.
