Softball Recap: West Scranton Comes Up Short

West Scranton lost to Valley View back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Invaders took a 14-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Invaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Valley View, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, West Scranton and Valley View will both be playing Wallenpaupack Area the next time they take the field. The Invaders will host the Buckhorns at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
