Baseball Game Preview: Mishicot Indians vs. Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters

For the second straight game, Mishicot will face off against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah. The Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Resorters at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Mishicot took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah a 4-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Resorters: they've now won seven in a row.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's batters probably weren't too happy with Eli Skarda, who pitched a no hitter (he gave up a single walk). Skarda also allowed no hits, which is notable because Mishicot is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 5-12 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Seth Rauber, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jax Vogel, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
