Baseball Recap: Lowcountry Leadership Comes Up Short

Lowcountry Leadership was the 12-9 winner over First Baptist School when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators lost 12-2 to the First Baptist School Hurricanes on Monday. The NaviGators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lowcountry Leadership now has a losing record of 3-4. As for First Baptist School, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Leadership will take on Goose Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lowcountry Leadership has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for First Baptist School, they will square off against Dorchester Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. First Baptist School knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Dorchester Academy likes a good challenge.
