Football Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact MacArthur can now relate to. They lost 36-14 to the Peoria Lions on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Lions are ranked 66th).

MacArthur is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5. As for Peoria, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

As of now, neither MacArthur nor Peoria have any future games scheduled.
