Football Game Preview: Camanche Indians vs. South Hardin Tigers

The Camanche Indians will venture away from home to take on the South Hardin Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Camanche has given up an average of 30.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Camanche took a blow against Cascade, falling 48-21. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led South Hardin over Central Springs in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Panthers out of the water with a 35-6 final score. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

A big part of South Hardin's win came down to the chemistry between Peyton Welch and his top target Casey Williamson. Welch threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt while Williamson picked up 123 receiving yards and a pair of scores. What's more, Williamson posted two receiving touchdowns, the most he's had since back in August.

South Hardin's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Camanche, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
