Basketball Recap: Burns Sci-Tech Eagles vs. Taylor Wildcats
Burns Sci-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 67-40 loss at the hands of the Taylor Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 63-44 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.
James Thomas had an outrageously good game for Taylor as he almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. Thomas is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jace Harcus, who went 5 for 8 en route to 12 points plus two steals.
Burns Sci-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Burns Sci-Tech will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Halifax Academy, where tip off is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. As for Taylor, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Trinity Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 3rd.
