Volleyball Recap: South Spencer Takes a Loss

South Spencer lost against Perry Central back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rebels lost 3-0 to the Commodores. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why South Spencer lost, don't look at Kendall Lloyd. Despite the final result, she had 25 digs and three assists. Lloyd is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Ling, who had 13 digs.

South Spencer's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Perry Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

South Spencer has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Tell City on the 7th. As for Perry Central, they will challenge Springs Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
