Cherokee fell victim to Colbert Heights and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 7-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Colbert Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 24-6 record this season.

Cherokee will venture away from home to face off against Covenant Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.6 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Colbert Heights, they will be playing at home against Phil Campbell at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
