The Eldorado Eagles had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton with a sharp 44-24 win on Friday. Eldorado's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.
When it comes to explaining why Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Briar Rowland. Despite the final result, he rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Rowland was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 68 yards.
Eldorado's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton, their defeat was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
Eldorado does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton is also done with their season.
