After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln County, Coffee County Central was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Grundy County Yellowjackets. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Coffee County Central never let Grundy County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

Coffee County Central's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Grundy County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Coincidentally, Coffee County Central and Grundy County will both be playing Whitwell the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will host the Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Red Raiders will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
