Soccer Recap: St. Edward Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Edward can now relate to. They came up short against the Mendota Trojans on Wednesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, St. Edward can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 375th, while Mendota are ranked 93rd).

St. Edward dropped their record down to 5-17-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mendota, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.

St. Edward does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mendota, they will host Schaumburg Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
