MaxPreps breaks down the rematch of a ridiculously high-scoring playoff game last year.

Serra (Gardena, Calif.) vs. Centennial (Corona, Calif.)

Why it's big: It's a rematch of a very memorable first-round Pac-5 division playoff game from last year. In a game that featured more than 1,300 combined yards of total offense, Centennial outlasted Serra, 68-64. The third-ranked Huskies return 13 starters from that team -- which went on to play in the Open Division state championship game – including leading rusher J.J. Taylor and leading receiver Javon McKinley.

Serra also has 13 starters back, including eight regulars on defense. However, the Cavaliers will have a new face at quarterback this week because senior starter Khalil Tate (an Arizona recruit) must sit out due to his ejection from last week's 41-15 win against Lakewood.

Names to watch: Centennial's strong senior class features at least eight players with FBS scholarship offers. Four have committed to Pac-12 schools, including Taylor (Arizona) and three-star offensive tackle Daniel Juarez (California).

At least six Serra seniors hold FBS offers. The most touted player in the group is five-star defensive end Oluwole Betiku. The UCLA commit is rated the top Class of 2016 prospect in California by 247Sports.
