Football Game Preview: Andrews Yellowjackets vs. Woodland Wolverines + Official Tickets

The Andrews Yellowjackets will venture away from home to face off against the Woodland Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Andrews will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Andrews' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Academic Magnet, posting a 42-0 win. The Yellowjackets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Philip Simmons, falling 39-14. While the Wolverines had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Iron Horses 14-10.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Andrews, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Andrews couldn't quite get it done against Woodland in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 19-6. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
