Softball Game Preview: Lone Peak Knights vs. Wasatch Wasps

The Lone Peak Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Wasatch Wasps at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Lone Peak's offense. They came up short against Springville on Monday, falling 6-0. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wasatch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to Salem Hills.

Wasatch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Sandlund, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Mckenna Olney also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Wasatch's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lone Peak, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
