Softball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Prospect's Ninth in Last 11 Outings

While Prospect put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Harker. The Panthers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 15-0 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Kendall Tabora made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Prospect let Sydney Slezak and Dani Rauscher run wild. Slezak went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Rauscher went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most hits Rauscher has posted since back in March of 2024. Angela D'Amato also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Prospect has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Harker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Prospect will venture away from home to square off against Pioneer at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harker, they will welcome Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
