Baseball Recap: George County Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, George County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Saltillo Tigers by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Preston McAdory was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
