Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnson County Central). They breezed by the Falls City Tigers to the tune of 69-41 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Thunderbirds as they're now sitting on three straight.

Falls City lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Keifer Adams, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quenton Adams, who put up eight points.

Johnson County Central pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Falls City, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnson County Central has already played their next game (against Fairbury), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Falls City will be playing at home against Auburn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Auburn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
