The home team had won the previous three meetings between Cary and Riverside-Durham, and Riverside-Durham kept the tradition alive. The Imps took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates on Wednesday. The loss put an end to Cary's undefeated start to the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Emmanuel Zuniga Padron, who's now up to four this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cary fell to 3-1. As for Riverside-Durham, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cary will head out to face off against Hillside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside-Durham, they will venture away from home to challenge Rolesville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
