Volleyball Recap: Sand Point Victorious

Sand Point proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Cook Inlet Academy Eagles 1-0.

Sand Point's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cook Inlet Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Sand Point has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Nenana on the 9th. As for Cook Inlet Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against King Cove on the 9th.
