Preview: Regents Knights vs. Holy Cross Knights
The Regents Knights will be playing at home against the Holy Cross Knights at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Regents is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Holy Cross in Texas (Regents is ranked 163rd, while Holy Cross is ranked 690th).
Last Wednesday, Regents lost to John Paul II on the road by a decisive 61-46 margin.
Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Holy Cross, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 57-46 victory over Burbank on Tuesday.
Holy Cross' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Moises Ledesma, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Dominic Hernandez was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with 7 rebounds.
Their wins bumped Regents to 4-2 and John Paul II to 3-4.
Regents suffered a grim 62-41 defeat to Holy Cross in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will Regents have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get analysis of the match and other basketball content.
