Recap: Iowa-Grant Panthers vs. River Valley Blackhawks
On Thursday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Iowa-Grant made off with a 52-51 win over River Valley.
Several Blackhawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karina Osborn, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Stokes, who scored 13 points.
Iowa-Grant now has a winning record of 2-1. As for River Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Iowa-Grant will head out on the road to face off against Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for River Valley, they will be playing at home against Fennimore at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fennimore presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than River Valley in Wisconsin (Fennimore is ranked 108th, while River Valley is ranked 372nd).
