Basketball Recap: Southlake Christian Academy Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

SouthLake Christian Academy picked up another tournament win on Monday. They walked away with a 53-41 victory over the Parkwood Wolf Pack. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly 12 points.

Despite the defeat, Parkwood saw an underclassman step up: freshman Nehemiah Davis posted 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Taylor Blakney was another key player, putting up 16 points.

SouthLake Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Parkwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

SouthLake Christian Academy will host Westminster Catawba Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. As for Parkwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-47 win against West Stanly on the 3rd.
