Orange Cove entered their tilt with Wonderful College Prep Academy on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the Wolves. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by exactly ten runs.

Orange Cove got a great performance from Adrian Gonzalez as he struck out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Gonzalez also tossed no walks, which is notable because the Titans are 10-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 6-7 otherwise.

At the plate, Jeremiah Silva was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Josiah Guerra was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.

Orange Cove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .514 or higher in six consecutive matchups.

Orange Cove pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
