Hayfork entered their tilt with Los Molinos on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Bulldogs.

Hayfork wouldn't go down easily and took Los Molinos into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 27-25, 25-19, 22-25, 15-12.

Riley Bayley paced Hayfork's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bayley got some help from Lydia Yarbrough and her 42 assists. Finally, Sophie Eslick kept Hayfork's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Despite the loss, Los Molinos still got an impressive performance from Paige Willams, who had 18 digs and two aces.

Hayfork's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Los Molinos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Hayfork will take on Etna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Los Molinos, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Corning on the 3rd.
