J.D. Rotert gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in May of 2024 on Friday. Nobody could stop him as he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Columbus East is 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-12 otherwise.

Coming up, Rotert and Columbus East will venture away from home to take on Jeffersonville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
