Meanwhile, Linville Hill took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 58-28 victory over Conestoga Christian.
Stephen Smucker and Giovanni Sejuste were among the main playmakers for Linville Hill as the former scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Sejuste's third in a row with at least ten points. Jerome Stoltzfus was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Coventry Christian's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Linville Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
Coventry Christian was dealt a bruising 58-29 loss at the hands of Linville Hill when the teams last played back in February. Can Coventry Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
