Frontier played in-conference for the first time on Monday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Shadyside Tigers. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 4-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Aidan Wolfe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits.

At the plate, Brayden Powers was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double was his first of the season. Luke Mendenhall was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Frontier's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Shadyside, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frontier will square off against Waterford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shadyside, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Union Local at 5:00 p.m.
