Baseball Recap: Oak Park Comes Up Short

Oak Park fell victim to Camarillo and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Scorpions, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Oak Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Hirsh, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Hirsh has hit this season. Another was Henry Rizzotti, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Oak Park's record now sits at 8-14-1. As for Camarillo, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-16.

While Oak Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
