Softball Recap: Nandua Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Nandua's offense. They came up short against the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators on Friday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Nandua's loss dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Looking ahead, Nandua will be playing in front of their home fans against Mathews at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Hampton Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
