Basketball Recap: A.L. Brown Takes a Loss

A.L. Brown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They fell 49-42 to the Hopewell Titans. The Wonders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 56-36.

Leading Hopewell to victory were JUNE WALLACE and MOLLY HOWE. WALLACE dropped a double-double with 14 points and 18 boards, while HOWE posted 12 points and six rebounds. Those 18 boards gave WALLACE a new career-high. JEWEL OSBORNE was another key player, putting up two points and nine rebounds.

A.L. Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Hopewell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-16 record this season.

A.L. Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hopewell, they will challenge Hough at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
